STARDYNE

STARDYNE is a three-dimensional nonlinear finite element program for analyzing the large deformation dynamic response of solids, shells and beams. STARDYNE is capable of analyzing problems in impact, penetration and failure. A variety of elastic and inelastic material models are included. Surface and body forces may be applied in both static and dynamic analyses. Elements include 2-node beam, 3-node and 4-node shells, and 8-node solids. A pre/post processor, STARMAP, allows users to easily build structures and graphically display the analysis results including the deformed geometry, contour plots and element stresses.
