Features include: 3-D CAD Geometry created in FEMAP, or imported via IGES or DXF; and automatic mesh generation with support for isotropic, orthotropic, and anisotropic materials. FEMAP supports ABAQUS, ALGOR, ANSYS, CAEFEM, CDA/SPRINT, COSMOS, MSC/PAL2, NASTRAN (COSMIC, CSAR, MSC, ME, and UAI), PATRAN, SAP, STAAND, STARDYNE, and WECAN. Post-processing options include: Deformations, Color Contours, Animations, Iso-Surface Contour Plots, Contour Sections and Cuts through models, Beam Shear and Bending Moment Diagrams, Error Estimates, Output Case Linear Combinations and Multiple Case Max/Min Envelopes, plus much more.
