Stress CHECK(TM)

Stress CHECK(TM) Release 2.0 consists of a complete Motif-based graphic user interface to perform pre- and post-processing associated with problem definition and results evaluation for linear static elastic analysis of planar, axisymmetric, plate bending and three-dimensional solid problems utilizing the p-version of the finite element method. STRESS CHECK is the first p-version PEA code to provide geometric and material nonlinear analysis. Support also provided for thermal and modal analysis. STRESS CHECK performs computation of stress intensity factors and J-integral for 2-D and axisymmetric crack problems by superconvergent extraction methods. Supports IGES or DXF neutral files for transferring geometry to or from a CAD system. POSTSCRIPT file output for stress reports.
