Version 1. Moldflow has formed a strategic partnership with MSC/Aries to integrate solid modeling capabilities into the Moldflow Dynamic Series. MF/SOLID opens up the world of conceptual modeling to Moldflow users. Product geometry can be created as a solid and then simply analyzed with any of the plastics optimization tools that make up the Dynamic Series.
MF/SOLID, accessed from within the familiar Moldflow graphical user interface environment, is based on an international kernel system that allows models generated by other solid modelers to be easily read. Best of breed products can therefore be combined into a tailored solution that matches individual user requirements.
