MECHANICAL ADVANTAGE II

The MECHANICAL ADVANTAGE II is a solids-based Total Product Design system. It includes tools for visualizing designs, analyzing and optimizing design performance, allocating tolerances, producing detailed drawings, and estimating costs. It combines solids, mathematics, sketching, variational geometry, animation, drafting, logic, graphs, spreadsheets, knowlege-based costing, data tables, hypertext, and programming into a unified toolset which captures and documents design intent, constraints, and relationships. The MAII uses the ACIS solid modeling kernel and is compatible with other ACIS-based applications. Advanced user interface features such as 3D sketching and an interactive Hierarchy Window enable users to become productive their first day.
