REPRI® is an electronic negative retouching station for professional portrait labs and studios. The system integrates a high-speed negative scanner, a Silicon Graphics workstation, specialized software, and a dedicated film recorder to create improved negatives that can be printed on conventional photographic printers.
The system is used to remove blemishes, stray hairs, eye glass glare, braces and other defects from portrait images. The retouching can be performed faster and with a higher quality than traditional manual negative retouching, and no additional retouching or blending is required on the prints.
