This file-conversion software converts TIFF files to and from the most popular pre-press formats. Line art scanned into a Macintosh® as a TIFF file is automatically converted to Contex line art format for trapping, without lengthy "autotrace" or "streamline" editing required. Continuous tones are converted from Hell, Scitex, Crosfield, and DS Screen formats to TIFF to be sent to the Macintosh for retouching in Photoshop or other applications. High-resolution images on the Macintosh (Photoshop, Colorstudio, etc.) can be received as TIFF files into Contex software and placed in pages for final film plotting.
