Output final jobs to Dolev Imagesetter on-line from Contex Prepress Systems. Contex sends resolution CT and lineart to the imagesetter marking engine via the Scitex PS/2, bypassing lengthy PostScript Rip times. Mac and PC Postscript files can also be sent to the imagesetter directly through the Dolev PostScript Rip on the Scitex PS/2. Precise screening is provided by Scitex Dolev screening algorithms comparable to traditional screening techniques. The Contex connects via Ethernet to the PS/2 PC in front of the Dolev, so that both Contex files and PostScript files can be sent to the Dolev. If a Scitex workstation exists on the network, Scitex, Contex, and PostScript files can be sent to the Dolev.
