(Radar Stereo Toolkit)
RaST is a low-cost software package that enables digital elevation model (DEM) generation from radar stereo systems. The software toolkit contains all essential functions for topo model and ortho image production including fully automated match point collection to greatly reduce processing time relative to manual tie pointing. RaST operates with ost airborne and spaceborne SAR systems including the Shuttle Imaging Radar (SIR), Magellan, ERS-1&2 and Radarsat. An optional package for electro-optical sensors, SPOT and Landsat is also available.
