SPSS Trends is a comprehensive time series analysis, forecasting, and modeling tool. Procedures include two-stage least squares and weighted least squares regression, spectral analysis, and Box-Jenkins analysis based on ARIMA algorithms. SPSS Trends contains more than a dozen smoothing models, curve-fitting with ten model choices, and three methods for estimating autoregressive models.
Users can test and compare fits among alternative models, as well as save and reuse models. Validation and forecasting periods can be changed, and missing values can be estimated with the latest statistical algorithms. SPSS Trends is an option to the SPSS Data Analysis System.
