The MergeCOM-3 Basic Integrator's Tool Kit provides the most fundamental DICOM 3.0 capabilities, and is software compatible with existing MergeCOM applications. The Basic Took Kit supports DICOM's "Storage Service Class" or image transfer between devices. Development engineers use the Tool Kit to write applications for data transfer between CT, MR, DSA and CR systems, nuclear medicine networks, ultrasound hard copy networks, 3-D workstations, display terminals, teleradiology and PACS components, laser or paper printing systems and digital archives. The Tool Kit provides a high-level interface (or API) to DICOM 3.0 standard. Networking hardware and software requirements.
