Essential's EISA Network Interface Card (NIC) for Silicon Graphics Indigo2 Workstation provides a Parallel HIPPI at 800 Mbits/sec interface for all areas of the workstation market place that require an affordable high speed network connection for personal and workgroup computing that supports digital media, client/server, and cluster computing. The EC-2017 EISA-Parallel HIPPI MIC for the Indigo 2 is an ANSI standard network interface with two simplex data channels with a bandwidth of 1 Gigabit/sec simultaneously in each direction. System requirement is a Silicon Graphics Indigo2 XL or larger with IRIX 5.2 or later Operating System.
