NetGBB, an extension of the GBB Generic Blackboard Builder, is for building enterprise-wide distributed applications runing on dissimilar processors located around an office, throughout an organization, or around the world.
NetGBB provides remote evaluation, blackboard-object transfer, remote object modification, remote object retrieval, mirroring, synchronization, and translation services. NetGBB inclues a virtual-host facility that allows transparent modifications to the underlying network configuration.
NetGBB is a layered product, built on industry-standard network protocols. As a result, NetGBB allows use of existing communication network facilities.
