The ROSIN License System can be incorporated into all kind of applications to control their usage on homogeneous or heterogeneous networks. Up to three license servers in a network handle the distribution of licenses to the clients and inform about the actual usage of licenses in the system. Floating licenses (the license is not tied to a specific machine), are as well supported as machine specific licenses. Licenses can be linked to a given software version or to a user . Single functions of a complex software package can be licensed individually. The fully internationaized user interface is based on OSF/MOTIF.
