The RTC Real Time Scan Converter converts high-resolution workstation output to NTSC or PAL video for recording or display. It automatically converts output from workstations scanning from 15 KHz to 80 KHz, utilizing proprietary adjustable digital filtering on both the horizontal and video domain to provide the highest resolution. Up to three independent sources can be connected simultaneously. Pan, scroll, and zoom features allow for easy compositing without distortion. Outputs include composite video, component video Betacam or M-II, S-VHS, and low-resolution RGB. There is a built-in genlock sync generator with color bars and black. RTC is available in NTSC and PAL versions. The RTC is unsurpassed in image quality.
