The MiniVAS-2 is an external 1" rack unit that is compatible with all popular computer platforms through the serial port of your computer. It controls a wide range of VTR formats (S-VHS, M-II, D1, laser disc, HDTV and more), and is supported by major software packages such as Alias, SOFTIMAGE, and Wavefront. Special features include control of a second VTR for rotoscoping, and our proprietary frame code technology (VIFC) for 100% frame accuracy even with entry level video recorders.
