BE Player is for "playing" behaviors created with BE Designer. Behaviors of interest typically include motions of three-dimensional objects. Since BE behaviors may include interfaces for interaction with the user, Player's role is not just to render fixed sequences, but to provide an interactive experience to the user. BE Player is suitable for use in conjunction with hypermedia systems; it has been integrated with popular browsers as a viewer for simulations and behaviors on the World-Wide Web. BE Player includes an interface to Open Inventor which may be used as its rendering engine.
