The Multi-dimensional User-orientation Synthetic Environment: MUSE is an open-ended software shell that provides a new approach to interacting with computer-based information. By utilizing both cognitive and experimental techniques, it greatly enhances a person's ability to examine question, and understand relationships in complex information space.
A MUSE shell can be wrapped around data models, simulations or even existing programs. Using a new design approach based on human functionality, MUSE provides tools for the Presentation, Exploration, Navigation, Manipulation, and Examination of data, modes and other types of information. The software is designed to enhance individual productivity when dealing with computer-based information at least one hundred-fold and to facilitate non-linear leaps of insight.
