AutoCAM® is a family of low-cost, 2-D and 3-D CAD/CAM systems. It is comprised of several distinct but intra-related members: AutoCAM Classic, AutoCAM Series 6, AutoCAM Series 7, and AutoCAM Series 8. Each product has its own set of modules to accommodate various NC machining applications for mills, lathes, punch presses and wire EDMs. The AutoCAM products are noted for being very easy to learn because of their intuitive user-friendly interface. Other advanced features include: multiple surface machining (NURBS), basic 2 to 5-axis continuous path machining, built-in 2-D and 3-D design, compatible interfaces for IGES and DXF files, and advanced NC post-processing.
