CD Studio is a desktop CD-ROM production system that allows users to produce CD-ROM discs on their UNIX workstation. CD Studio is an integrated system combining MakeDisc premastering software, an intelligent controller and a CD-Writer. With CD Studio users can create an ISO 9660/Rock Ridge, native formats or non-compliant discs. Fully networkable, CD Studio does not require a dedicated workstation. CD Studio is the most feature-packed, reliable and flexible UNIX CD-Recordable solution on the market today. CD Studio now lets users take advantage of unattended batch mode production for runs of up to 75 discs. The Kodak Disc Transporter is the key. With removable input and output spindles and a simple, reliable robotics mechanism, the transporter changes the economic equation of in-house CD production.
