Elastic Reality 3.0 is a versatile warping and morphing system that can also be used for matte creation and general-purpose compositing. Unlike systems that use cumbersome meshes and points, ER uses a unique shape-based interface with standard drawing tools familiar to any artist. ER is used by the largest special effects and post-production houses in the world for everything from commercial television to feature film effects. Its built-in audio support allows frame-accurate lip sync animation and a render server is available. ER runs on any SGI® workstation with IRIX 5.3 or higher.
