WSD/XL is the digital alternative to the traditional analog single-frame recording process. WSD/XL offers 62 seconds of uncompressed D1 digital video storage plus digital serial and component analog video I/O. WSD/XL supports fast digital computer transfers via Ethernet & SCSI. The optional WSD/XL GIO bus interface provides the fastest digital transfers between the WSD/XL and Indy, Indigo and Indigo2 workstations. WSD/XL includes a virtual control panel providing remote control plus VTR control for frame accurate editing from the workstation display. WSD/XL is the most affordable, fully-featured digital video disk recorder available.
