Armada is a set of powerful server utilities for multi-site content management and consolidation. Armada manages large volumes of information from departmental submittal through corporate-level consolidation, indexing, and presentation. Armada extracts meta-data from Web objects, allows conditional processing based on the meta-data, and manages Webs of sites. Meta-data includes MIME type, file attributes, HTML tags, and NetCarta WebMap
annotations such as author and expiration date. Conditional processing can be accomplished through a variety of means such as CGI scripts, C programs, Java applets, etc. Web and site management inclue broken link reports, automatic link verification, etc. Features in this release: Custom Integration: Provides integration into Web and IS environments and applications. Pre and Post Filtering: Allows actions to be taken based on meta-data either before or after the object is added to a NetCarta WebMap.
