WebReporter is a sophisticated tool for analyzing Web server access activity and generating customized reports. WebReporter supports Open Market's Extended Log Format, as well as the common log format used by other Web servers. WebReporter uses a powerful scripting language for controlling report data and format. The scripting language offers complete control over the report format, with the ability to do the following: assign names to groups of URLs and host names; specify filters to select or omit log entries; include previously processed log data into new reports (eliminating the need to process the entire log file each time there are new entries to incorporate); and generate reports from multiple log formats (uncompressed or compressed files). WebReporter can generate reports in plain text or HTML formats, and can generate data in a format for importing into spreadsheet applications.
