Sherpa's flagship product data management (PDM) product, Sherpa®/PIMS, supplies all the capabilities required to manage, organize, and provide timely access to an organization's product information. When implemented, engineering and manufacturing functions become fully integrated through access to a common database of information managed by the Sherpa system. This information can be CAD files, part and bills of material, engineering documents, vendor data, work instructions, or any other data or files that describe products. Sherpa/PIMS electronically manages, controls, and automates the processes employed to create, review, release and change product information managed by Sherpa.
