SHERPA®/SCM is a Sherpa application that meets the needs of the enterprise with the requirement to manage embedded software as well as hardware data types. Sherpa/SCM tracks this data through the product's lifecycle making it available to authorized personnel everywhere in the extended enterprise. Sherpa/SCM adheres to the software management provisions of ISO 9000 and complies with the DOD CALS initiative, including the newer requirement, DOD-STD 2167A. Sherpa/SCM provides configuration control and other PDM capabilities that go beyond source file management features of CASE tools.
