J_SPARSE is an extremely efficient and reliable Iterative Solver for solving large linear systems of the form AX=B where A is a sparce essentially indefinite symmetic complex coeffient matrix and B may contain multiple Right Hand Side(s). J_SPARSE is especially efficient when solving radar cross sectioning, inverse scattering, and microwave problems approximated by the Finite Element Method. J_SPARSE is based on new preconditioning strategies for sparse complex symmetric matrices and a new complex basic iterative scheme. These methods enable J_SPARSE to solve highly ill-conditioned linear systems in a relatively small number of iterations.
