The MATLAB® System Identification Toolbox works with MATLAB numeric compuation software to build mathematical models of dynamic systems, based on observed input-output data. Central features include parametric and non-parametric techniques for all phases of the system identification process: parametric estimation, spectral analysis, simulation and presentation.
The System Identification Toolbox is delivered as MATLAB M-files, enabling the user to see the algorithms and implementations, as well as to make changes or create new functions to address a specific application.
