The Basic Math Library provides all levels of BLAS, plus 1-D FFTs, engineered with high-performance Fortran numerical algorithms designed to exploit the two-level cache and parallelism of Silicon Graphics® architectures. BLAS routines are fundamental to all areas of numerical application programming. These BLAS routines enable users to achieve optimal performance when porting software from other machines to the SGI architecture. The 1-D complex-to-complex and real-to-complex FFTs included in this library are fundamental to signal and image processing applications.
