DESKTOP-VIP contains a series of integrated modules for preprocessing and data preparation, simulation of complex time dependent fluid injection and recovery processes, and postprocessing analysis of the results of a reservoir simulation. The simulator is the VIP-EXECUTIVE® program which allows the user to link the appropriate simulation modules to describe a variety of recovery processes and fluid behavior in both matrix dominated and naturally fractured reservoirs.
