The Sparse System Library provides direct linear system solvers for skyline data structures (both in-core and out-of-core), iterative preconditioned conjugate gradient and conjugate-like solvers for general sparse systems. The library is engineered with high-performance Fortran numerical algorithms designed to exploit the two-level cache and parallelism of Silicon Graphics® architectures. Typical application areas that can benefit from this highly optimized numerical software include computational fluid dynamics, structural dynamics, electronic device and circuit simulation, computational chemistry, and reservoir simulation applications.
