SeisTie is a suite of interactive seismic vintage matching applications. It provides the capability to select any two seismic lines and design a matching filter to make one of the lines look similar to the other and help ensure that correct event identification can be made across the intersection. The interpreter can choose the optimum location for the match to take place and interactively extract the filter. A statistical analysis of the operator validity can be produced. Dynamically applying the filter to one of the seismic lines provides the interpreter with a visual comparison. The generated operator can be exported from the system and then be used by a processing sequence to filter one of the vintages of data.
