Conforming to the core level of the ODBC API Version 2.0 specifications, the Empress ODBC Interface offers Empress RDBMS customers software connectivity between UNIX servers and PCs. The server configuration must include Empress Version 6.4 with Dynamic SQL. The client can be any PC or workstation running ODBC-compatible applications such as Microsoft Excel, Visual Basic, Visual C++, Lotus 1-2-3, or others under Windows v3.1 or Windows NT.
