HP WorkManager, an enterprise product data and workflow management system, coordinates the entire product design and manufacture life cycle. WorkManager allows users to manage the content and flow of product development data. Because it is so easily customized, the user can control how data is tracked, retrieved and organized. Users define all aspects from distributing data to obtaining approvals. Because WorkManager facilitates the sharing of data, teams can work in parallel for true concurrent engineering.
With the addition of the Motif
graphical user interface, WorkManager will support a wide range of platforms, operating systems and database products. They include Microsoft® Windows, HP-UX, Sun Solaris, Sun OS, IBM/AIX, SGI/IRIX and ASCII terminals, as well as ORACLE, SYBASE, INFORMIX and HP ALLBASE databases.
