CMS is a Product Data Management (PMD) System designed to control all types of electronic information including: CAD models and drawings, technical specifications, scanned images, product configurations, regulatory procedures and so forth. Built on top of a standard relational database (Oracle or Sybase), CMS provides secure file storage (vaulting) while maintaining critical information about the files in the relational database (metadata). CMS also includes a Workflow application which enables electronic information to be routed to key individuals for review and sign-off, eliminating the need for manual routing of paper documents.
CMS is known for its out-of-the-box usability, its unrivaled tool integration, and enterprise-wide scalability.
