UniQPrint is a high specification printer/plotter control environment for UNIX computers. It does not only offer spooling facilities normally found on mainframe systems, but it also addresses today's requirements for controlling large numbers of distributed printers/plotters in networked multi-host configurations.
A queue of print requests is maintained for the population of print devices. The integrity of the print is assured throughout its lifetime from receipt of the request, to delivery to the device and availability for subsequent access.
