The EMASS AML is a family of floor-space efficient, fully automated, robotic libraries designed as high-technology improvement over manual or partially automated library systems. The open architecture provides maximum flexibility in configuration, ensures integration of the data center's existing drives and data formats, and allows for future expansion and adaptation. EMASS AML systems support any media, any drive, any platform with capacities ranging from 300 to in excess of 50,000 3480 style cartridges. The EMASS AML family provide an enterprise solution for data management and backup archives, or as a powerful alternative to conventional single-media libraries.
