The BASISplus® system is built on an open, scalable, client/server architecture for implementing document based applications. Applications scale from workgroup to enterprise while interoperating within mainstream computing infrastructures.
Included are complete library services, full-text retrieval, document control, and security. Documents, attributes, and structure are stored in an extended-relational database. Document types include SGML, HTML, taged text, word-processing documents, and bibliographic records.
