Cambridge Structural Database System

The Cambridge Structural Database System (CSD) contains experimental 3-D coordinate data, together with chemical connectivity tables and bibliographic text for approximately 140,000 organic and organometallic molecules. The CSD is supplied with the programs QUEST, VISTA, PLUTO and GSTAT for search, statistical analysis, and graphical display. The CSD is also supplied with a complete copy of the Brookhaven Protein Data Bank. The CSD is widely used in industrial and academic research as a unique source of experimentally determined structural data. Applications include drug design, molecular modeling, and crystallography.
