THREEDOM is a program for searching a database of 3-dimensional chemical structures to find those which have high similarity (in shape or electron charge distribution) to a target structure. It uses the "Icosahedral Matching Algorithm" for efficient alignment of structures. Its prime application is in the pharmaceutical and agrochemical fields in the search for "lead" compounds.
