CONVERT - It is an unfortunate fact that there is little standardization in the formats in which chemical structural information is stored. There are about half a dozen popular formats in use at the present time, and users of molecular modeling software need to be able to transfer structural information from one modeling system to another. CONVERT allows them to do this. It also allows multi-structural files to be split up, and whole series of structures to be converted from one format to another.
