The CORE is a powerful set of interactive 2-D image file management, display, manipulation, and analysis tools implemented in an X-Windows/Motif end-user and application development environment. The CORE has enough basic image processing technology to satisfy the needs of a broad range of traditional imaging applications, from 2-D biomedical imaging to the more demanding requirements of 2-D intelligence data analysis. The CORE is extensible. Command line applications and utilities can be easily added to The CORE main menu. Source code is available.
