Text Retrieval Library
Excalibur TRL is a set of C subroutines for indexing and retrieving textual information. TRL uses Excalibur's Adaptive Pattern Recognition Processor engine (APRP) for maximizing precision, recall and relevancy in applications that require either full text retrieval or ad hoc text query. It is the fastest way for OEMs and System Integrators to offer advanced, full text retrieval in their applications.
TRL indexes every word and phrase from any electronic source including relational database fields. The index is constructed automatically and eliminates the need to pre-process the data or manually enter keyword tags. Additionally, TRL searches use traditional retrieval methods including simple keyword lookup, complex nested Boolean expressions, proximity operators and concept searches.
