Excalibur XRS Retrieval Software is the first software technology designed to automatically index, store and retrieve digital information based on its content regardless of data type. In a client/server, distributed processing environment, Excalibur XRS enables users to submit samples of pictures, video frames, sound bites, fingerprints or other data types and quickly locate and retrieve stored information that matches the samples.
In addition to Excalibur's APRP technology, Excalibur XRS architecture includes MediaScript. MediaScript is Excalibur's image processing language for customizing programs and developing feature extraction interfaces for image, voice, signal and full-motion video recognition or other multimedia data types.
