DocGen®-C can automatically generate documentation (DoD-Std-2167A SDD, NASA/SMAP, user-defined) directly from information contained in C source files. The output documentation is contained in an ASCII file which is compatible with a variety of text/word processors.
DocGen®-C works with CDADL® (C Design And Documentation Language) processor to extract relevant information from the source code. Details such as inputs, outputs, local and global data, invocations, and called-by are extracted from the code and enhanced using comment compatible PCL extensions. DocGen®-C assembles this information in accordance with user-specified formats.
