Customers maximize their use of licenses when software vendors embed FLEXlm in their products, while vendors more effectively price and license their software. FLEXlm supports network-wide, heterogeneous software licensing policies and multi-tier software distribution. Its support for a wide array of licensing policies includes: user, concurrent, host, metered, consumptive and demo. In addition, products with FLEXlm allow the customer's system administrators to set policies to further control their use of licenses.
