The addition of GUI GDB to the Cygnus Developer's Kit, provides a common graphical interface for debugging and offers consistent functionality with all 65+ host/target platforms supported by Cygnus. The availability of source code makes GDB customizable, easing implementation and use with the GNU compilers. Debugging applications developed using the GNU compilers, hosted on SGI's IRIS, further enables engineering teams targeting the MIPS R3000 or R4000 family of microprocessors.
