Laguna MIPS-based VMEbus CPU Board

Laguna is a MIPS-based single board VME computer that works in concert with SGI workstations to provide a powerful "hard" real-time computing environment. Using the VxWorks development environment, real-time applications are developed and debugged on the SGI workstation and then downloaded to a Laguna VME board running the VxWorks real-time kernel. Once deployed, data can dynamically be passed back and forth between the real-time application running on the VME board and a man machine interface running on the SGI workstation. Laguna features an R46i00 CPU, Ethernet, SCSI, up to 64 MBytes DRAM, 4 MBytes Flash, 2 serial ports and VME64 interface.
