The Visual Action Toolset is the first suite of tools available to assist Motif developers in the creation of Live Document applications--that is, interactive documents that act as useful tools for problem solving, business reporting and management, personal productivity and a host of other activities. Using the toolkit, developers can build visual applications that overlay GUI behavior on the same high-quality graphics previously available through desktop publishing systems. With the toolset, any document that cna be printed to PostScript device can be quickly and easily transformed into a live document within an application.
