MainSoft SourceSafe® for UNIX® is a project-oriented version control system that provides complete cross-platform functionality with Microsoft® SourceSafe for the Windows
and MacOS operating environments. Unlike other commonly used version control systems for UNIX, MainSoft SourceSafe is fully supported and allows project-level (as opposed to file-level) maintenance of software source code, testing scripts and project documents.
